RPG über die bekannte Crowdfunding-Plattform. Die neue Ausgabe des dieselpunkigen Techno-Fantasy-Rollenspiels fand bereits genügend Unterstützer, um die grundsätzliche Finanzierung zu sichern. Stretch Goals voraus.

OUR GOAL
We’re raising money to pay for stunning full colour, hard cover books for the settings and rule books starting with the rules and core setting book Mutant Chronicles: Dark Symmetry. We plan to deliver the core book PDF in July, and the print version in August. Backers will receive pre-print PDF’s to assist with proof reading in June.
Modiphius plans re-design of the rules and a re-write of the setting guides and supplements to include brand new material alongside the existing storyline. You can expect the usual high quality production values that Modiphius is known for (just check out the comments from backers of the Achtung! Cthulhu Kickstarter).“

Nach dem Tabletop Mutant Chronicles Warzone Resurrection von Prodos Games Ltd, ebenfalls mithilfe von Kickstarter finanziert, kehrt nun auch die aberwitzige Alternative zu Warhammer 40.000 (W40k) zurück auf den Rollenspieltisch.
Es geht auch ohne den humorlosen Imperator und seine unterbelichteten Schergen. Die miteinander im Wettbewerb stehenden Konzerne, die Bruderschaft und natürlich die dämonische Dark Symmetry aus dem Mutant Chronicles-Universum sind eine ausgezeichnete Gelegenheit, um mal eine andere Geschmacksrichtung auszuprobieren, die sich ebenfalls im breiten Spektrum Science Fantasy zuhause fühlt.
Überdies ist diese Spielwelt frei von den Space Marine-Trollen, Games Workshop, aus Nottingham. Trotz Kickstarter Fatigue komme ich wohl nicht umhin, das Mutant Chronicles 3rd Ed. RPG in meine Bibliothek aufzunehmen. Das Kickstarter-Projekt läuft bis zum 9. März 2014.
Kehrt womöglich irgendwann auch Kult wieder?
