The Ladykillers. Das düstere Westernerzählrollenspiel Dust Devils von Matt Snyder ist für mich eine richtungsweisende Indieperle, die das gemeinsame Erzählen einer Geschichte betont. Es ist kein perfektes Spiel, Powergamer und Strategierollenspieler können das Spiel durch ihre oft eigensinnige Überoptimierung beeinträchtigen, doch wer mit gemeinschaftlichen Erzählstilen experimentieren will, dem empfehle ich Dust Devils. Ich bin Fan, weil ich ungewöhnliche und fantastische Spielerlebnisse damit verbinde.
Vor ein paar Tagen stolperte ich über das neue Projekt von Matt Snyder: The Ladykillers RPG
Der Autor sucht seit dem 11. November 2013 Playstester, die gerne als Rächerin von den Toten wieder auferstehen, um für ihre Erlösung zu töten.

A Role-playing Game
The Ladykillers is a role-playing game. You take on the role of a lady returned from the grave as an assassin.
Your ladykiller’s job is to take out everyone on the hitlist. They are monsters. Sometimes literally. They probably deserve it. The thing is, you’ll see some other people along the way that might get hurt. No one said it would be easy.
Play with your friends. One of you will be the guide, and her job is to push the other players toward their goals and portray all the other supporting characters, friend or foe. Everyone else plays her own ladykiller.“

Das Plot erinnert mich an den Filmklassiker Nikita von Luc Besson, was sicherlich keine schlechte Referenz darstellt.
