British Library. Die britische Bibliothek veröffentlichte via Flickr Commons über eine Millionen Bilder als Public Domain, d. h. jeder kann diese eigentlich für seine Zwecke verwenden und verändern.
„We have released over a million images onto Flickr Commons for anyone to use, remix and repurpose. These images were taken from the pages of 17th, 18th and 19th century books digitised by Microsoft who then generously gifted the scanned images to us, allowing us to release them back into the Public Domain.“

Die Sache hat allerdings ein Haken. Ich bin kein Jurist und ich weiß nicht, ob diese Bildrechte auch in Deutschland gelten. Dennoch eine wahre Fundgrube für Rollenspieler. Besonders Fans von Call of Cthulhu dürften an diesem Flickr Commons-Angebot der British Library erfreuen.
