Kingdom Death: Monster – Avatar Pinup Lioness
Kingdom Death: Monster, die überaus erfolgreich laufende Kickstarter-Kampagne für das Miniaturenbrettspiel von Adam Poots schickt sich an, den bekannten CoolMiniOrNot-Projekten (Zombicide, Sedition Wars, etc.) Konkurrenz zu machen.
Mittlerweile steht der erste Teil der Gameplay-Vorstellung via Youtube zur Verfügung. Das Spiel adaptiert unter anderem bekannte Mechanismen von Arkham Horror (Fantasy Flight Games) oder den aktuellen Dungeons & Dragons-Brettspielen (Ravenloft, etc. (Wizards of the Coast)).
Gegenwärtig rund 33 Tage vor dem Ende der Crowdfunding-Aktion konnten mehr als 465.000 $ gesammelt werden.
Ein erreichtes Stretch Goal (Zusatzziel) bringt den Dragon King ins Spiel. Der unangenehme Zeitgenosse spuckt kein Feuer, sondern verändert bei Bedarf seine „radioaktive“ Aura. Auch nicht schlecht, oder?
„The Dragon King is a major content expansion that adds a whole new huge monster, new armor kit ( 2 male and 2 female as usual ), rules, AI cards, hit location cards, new special resources, settlement events, innovations gear and new lore to the game. Everything you will need to step up and challenge this dangerous entity.
It also changes the game in a huge way, as you can begin a settlement from scratch… under the dragons kings rule! I don’t want to spoil to much but this new starting point will offer a a whole new way to experience the game and will change how you encounter the existing monsters and in some cases, your relationship with them.
Another fun little detail I wanted to share, ( and i will just say this in plain english ) he is radioactive! Instead of a breath attack the monster can control radiation levels in a radius around him reducing foes to a smoldering, dry heap in a mere instant! So basically… you are his ramen noodles and you have the option of starting your struggle right under his terrible might! It’s such a depressing fate its down right EXCITING me to talk about it!“
